Government P.U College for Girls, Udupi is the only one School in Udupi district which is meant for providing education for girls. This School was started in 1920 as “Sharada Mahila Vidyalaya” which was included Primary section and Teachers Training Institute. The High School section was added in the year 1952. Presently, the School has strength of 370 students. The teaching medium is available in both English and Kannada. The School provides good environment for the academic and also for the co-curricular activities of the students.
